David Brett

David Brett is Reader Emeritus in Design History at the University of Ulster, based at the School of Art and Design in Belfast. He was awarded a PhD from the Royal College of Art and it is his deep-rooted interest in architecture, objects and modernisation which inspired him to write this original work. He has published extensively in journals throughout the world, and is the author of a number of plays, radio scripts, novels and other writings. He is also married with two children and has lived for many years in Northern Ireland.
