Gordon L. Heath

Gordon L. Heath (PhD, St Michael’s College) is Associate Professor of Christian History at McMaster Divinity College, and serves as Director of the Canadian Baptist Archives. His recent appointment to the Centenary Chair in World Christianity at the college reflects his growing interest in how Christian communities around the world have been eliminated. His publications include A War with a Silver Lining: Canadian Protestant Churches and the South African War, 1899-1902 (2009), and Doing Church History: A User-friendly Introduction to Researching the History of Christianity (2008). He has also co-edited Canadian Baptists and Public Life (2012), and Baptism: Historical, Theological and Pastoral Perspectives (2011).
