By Emil Brunner

Twelve sermons on the Apostles’ Creed, by the renowned Swiss theologian.

ISBN: 9780718891626

Description

“It is the intention of these twelve sermons,” says Dr. Brunner, “to show in what sense faith in Jesus Christ includes the facts to which the Apostles’ Creed refers to, and to show what this belief means in our life, both individually and socially.”

Dr. Brunner’s characteristic clarity of phrase and his skilful presentation of profound theological thought are seen at their best in this book. For him the Apostles’ Creed is a living proclamation of the Christian Faith and a powerful attestation to the reign of Christ today.
